One of the hardest things for parents to do is trust timing.

We compare.

We worry.

We wonder if our child is behind.

Behind in reading.

Behind socially.

Behind emotionally.

Behind academically.

But children are not machines moving down an assembly line.

They are living beings unfolding in their own time.

Nature reminds us of this constantly.

A sunflower does not bloom on the same day as a rose.

An oak tree does not grow at the same rate as a tomato plant.

Each follows its own design.

Children are no different.

The Red Thread invites us to look less at where a child stands compared to others and more at how they are unfolding compared to themselves.

Are they growing?

Are they learning?

Are they becoming more fully who they are?

Trusting timing does not mean ignoring challenges. It means remembering that growth is not always linear.

Sometimes children appear stuck while something important is developing beneath the surface.

Sometimes what looks like delay is actually preparation.

The thread knows where it is going even when we cannot yet see the destination.

Our task is not to rush the unfolding.

Our task is to remain present enough to witness it.
